Lecturer - Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering

The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering in the Samueli School of Engineering is currently accepting applications for a part-time lecturer for the Winter quarter 2027 to teach CBE 161 (Introduction to Biochemical Engineering). This course covers the application of engineering principles to biochemical processes. Specific topics include microbial pathways, energetics and control systems, enzyme and microbial kinetics, and the design and analysis of biological reactors.

The Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering in the Samueli School of Engineering is currently accepting applications for a part-time lecturer for the Fall quarter 2026 to teach CBE 145 (Chemical Process Control). Curriculum areas include dynamic responses and control of chemical process equipment, dynamic modeling of chemical processes, linear system analysis, analyses and design of feedback loops and advanced control systems.

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering periodically seeks temporary, part-time Lecturers to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in one or more of the following areas:

• Environmental and Energy systems
• Hydrology and Water Resources
• Structures, Geotechnics, and Materials
• Transportation Systems

Candidates who can teach across multiple analysis and design courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels are especially encouraged to apply.
